Outer Banks

Wow we just got home from the Outer Banks. It was a great trip although i never want to do that drive again. We had fun waves and there should be some shots starting to surface shortly. On the down side i was unable to make it past the 2nd round of the OBX Pro and Danielle got 5th in the ESA Easterns. But the worse thing of all is we got home to start editing the video we shot up there and the tapes were blank!!!!! So hopefully we can resolve this issue soon and get some video going. 

For the 2nd part of out trip we stayed with the Gibson's a amazing  family that we had a great time staying with and surfing with. While staying with them i had the chance to really get to know a kid named James.  James is one of those kids you meet once in awhile that has had a tough time in the past with family issues. But has taken the chance with the Gibson's and made the best out of things he got his grades up to straight A's and has started surfing a lot. Although he had only been surfing for 2 years he did not have a board of his own he was riding his girlfriends boards that were to small for him but he was still ripping. So Monday night after surfing with him we got to the house and i handed him one of my boards to have! He could not find words to say. And i was just happy to help someone do what they love to do. Not to mention he was ripping the next day on the board!

That pretty much rounded out that trip. Now that we are home I will be surfing the Tommy Tant contest Oct 10th-11th, Then will be Leaving to CA on the 26th of Oct to do a road trip up through the North West .

What A Busy Week

Just got a killer package in from Kicker and got it all installed ! They pretty much pimped out the 4 Runner for us.(thanks Thomas) Hit those guys up over there if you need anything for your ride.

Danielle got a late invite to Esa Easterns  so we were planing on heading up to Cape Hatters N.C on the 19th for her to surf on the 21st. But i have decided that we will head up on the 17th so i can surf the Outer Banks Pro on the 18th-30th, Along on the trip we will be shooting a lot of video and shooting some photos with the ESM guys.  I have also just signed on with  Ryan Marks as a Manager he is also the owner of Lionize P,R . This Saturday to go along with Saint Augustine Beach's 50 year birthday me and 3 other will be giving free surf lessons for 3 hours at the pier thanks to Clint from Pit Surf Shop . After the lessons we will be doing a small Expression session.

I think that pretty much rounds this week out , We have some wind chop out in the water so it time to go get some training in . Keep on the look out for updates from N.C.
